The Maryland Division of Labor and Industry invites you to attend these no-cost informative workshops at the Carroll County/Business Employment Resource Center in Westminster:

Prevailing Wage / Worker Classification (SHRM/HRCI) – This workshop will cover what constitutes a prevailing wage project and how prevailing wage rates are determined in Maryland.  The Worker Classification workshop focuses on how to Distinguish an employee from an independent contractor, and provides a better understanding of the laws pertaining to worker classification.
