Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Have you ever considered serving on a nonprofit Board but weren’t sure where to start? This engaging introduction to the world of nonprofit governance is for local business leaders, faith-based community members, and other individuals who are ready to step into meaningful leadership roles within the nonprofit sector.

Participants will explore the roles and responsibilities of board members, learn the rewards and challenges of board service, and learn about local nonprofits seeking new board talent.

Participants who attend “Valuing Your Community Through Board Service” on June 10, 2025, will be invited to attend “Mission Match Carroll,” a networking event that will connect with Carroll County area nonprofits that are seeking new board members (July 9, 2025).
