The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2018 Carroll Biz Challenge! The Biz Challenge is an annual tradition in Carroll County, which offers local entrepreneurs the exciting opportunity to pitch their new business ideas to make great connections, get loads of publicity,
and compete for $5,000 cash prize plus additional prizes worth thousands more.
It’s like American Idol meets Shark Tank. Dozens of entrepreneurs will enter. Five will be chosen to pitch their ideas before a panel of judges and a live audience. Only one will walk away with the grand prize.
It’s unlike any other event in Carroll County!
1) Apply / Between now and May 31st

3) Five Finalists are Selected / Late June
The Advisory Committee will embark on the always-grueling task of choosing only five finalists from all of the ideas.
2) Attend the Meet & Greet / Thursday, June 7th 5-7pm
Meet the other applicants, the judges and the sponsors. Appetizers and drinks will be generously provided by the Town Mall of Westminster.
4) The Live Finale / Thursday, August 9th 5-9pm
After an amazing happy hour, the five finalists will take the stage and pitch their ideas. The audience will vote for the People’s Choice Award and the judges will deliberate and choose the grand prize winner.
