The Carroll Manufacturing Consortium held its first meeting at Carroll Community College (CCC) in May 2007 to address common industry and workforce challenges. Consortium members join forces to assist each other in collaborative training efforts, workforce development programs, and manufacturing business and marketing opportunities.

The group is supported by the Carroll County Department of Economic Development and Carroll Community College in addition to representatives from state and regional organizations including the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, the TIME Center, Community College of Baltimore County, the Maryland Technology Extension Service, and Carroll County Public Schools.

Consortium meetings are held regularly at the Carroll Community College. To join the CCC email distribution list for consortium notices, please email Kathy Menasche.  Participation in consortium meetings and events is open to all Carroll County manufacturers.
